Long time friends and comedic giants, Jeff Ross and Dave Attell have joined forces and brought a show built on their unbelievable chemistry, individual strengths and mutual abilities to work a crowd like no else in the game to this year’s Just For Laughs comedy festival. The show is called, “Bumping Mics” and if you enjoy crowd work, roasting, sing-alongs, celebrity drop-ins, or stand up you will absolutely LOVE this show.

The New Faces shows are one of the cornerstones of the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival. After an intensive year long search hearing from the best and the brightest young comedians all over the country, the Just for Laughs team presents their picks of the most promising young talent, and industry from all corners of comedy come out to see them perform. It’s an exciting night because it’s a chance to be seen by career makers. All of the comics are incredibly talented and the Theater at Monument National packs out with comedy’s most hardcore fans, and hopeful managers and agents, and scouts looking to find the next great comedy star.

The Nasty Show returns to Montreal’s esteemed Just for Laughs festival this year as the fest celebrates it’s 35th anniversary. We’re not sure if that’s 35 JFL years, or 35 Nasty Show years but the show has been running for decades so either is possible. The Nasty Show is a major JFL institution- not only for its continuous years in existence but also for the sheer number of shows that take place each year. Two weeks, with one and sometimes two shows a night, and still the event sells out show after show after show. Performers push boundaries, treading in dangerous territory, covering everything dirty, taboo, rude, offensive and raw. This year, Ari Shaffir returned to the Nasty Show, and for the first time he is serving as host and master of ceremonies for the evening.
